白野莉子（多部未华子 饰）是一名恋爱养成游戏设计师，专职撰写恋爱养成游戏的剧本，因此脑海里塞满了对恋情的天马行空不切实际的幻想，并且对现实里的不成器的男人们以及同他们的恋爱充满了失望。黑川壮一郎（高桥一生 饰）是APP公司的社长，他找到了莉子，委托她制作一款手机恋爱游戏。 壮一郎虽然样貌一表人才，却丝毫不懂得女性心里的弯弯绕，过于耿直的他和莉子之间自然产生了不少的矛盾，甚至爆发了激烈的争吵。实际上，壮一郎一直暗恋着下属桃濑（大政绚 饰），苦于不懂得如何表达感情的他委托莉子做自己的“恋爱指导”。在莉子的帮助下，壮一郎和桃濑之间的距离越来越近，与此同时，内心里深深的失落让莉子意识到，自己似乎已经爱上了壮一郎。
